Is the frame part of the original picture? Do we know anything else about this? There's a big reservoir of JO Duke people who might know.

Yes, the frame was part of the original picture I got from Brent. Help me find that reservoir of JO Duke people, okay?

I have some stuff on the Dukes. Also where did you get the picture?

Thanks!

stillok, I received this picture from my cousin Brent Collett. It was in a box of pictures of our grandmother Inez Harrison Rasmussen.

Would you like to be included as a contributor to this blog and add your stuff here? Let me know & I'll add you. You are also welcome to email me at cheya@ubtanet.com

Nice to 'meet' you.

I'm a descendant of Jonathan Oldham Duke. My Mother is a Duke. I have some info on him. Also a real photo of him.

I am a Descendant as well through his son James Duke and Wife Mary Stone. I found an actual Photograph of him taken in Provo UT just the other night. On a family search site of another line. I will make it my Photo so you can all see! Here is the site it was found upon!https://familysearch.org/photos/images/6521558?p=361779

I'm not sure of the origin of the picture of JO Duke that goes with this post. I received a copy from my cousin, Brent Collette. It looks to me that the frames are part of a fancy pedigree sheet and the picture was cut to fit the opening. The picture I have is a copy of that.

Eve, I posted that picture. Someone asked me where I got it and, even tho I try to keep records of that stuff, I can find my source for that picture. It's so aggravating!

Movie Nut, I have been in touch with various people and made some in roads. So much of the work is already complete so I've been working on other stuff.
